Maintaining Resilient Health Systems in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted all aspects of human lives (Health, security, education, finance, economy food, etc). Health delivery systems in all countries of the world have not been spared. There is congestion in hospitals, shortage of staff, shortage of medical logistics, infection among hospital staff, the decline in service delivery for other health conditions, increased health financing, etc. As long as the pandemic exists, these problems will continue to impact negatively on the ability of our health systems to function effectively. In this presentation, Dr. Nyarko shares some recommendations that can help countries to build and maintain resilient health systems that can last during this pandemic and beyond.
